• Molds are fungi that thrive on moisture, oxygen and organic material. Exposure to mold spores can cause nasal and sinus congestion. These also trigger asthma and lung infection for those with chronic respiratory diseases. Airing and exposure to sunlight prevents growth of molds and disinfecting the house on a regular basis.
